Ugandan Singer Rema Namakula has today been unveiled as the ambassador of Itel Uganda, our sources has learnt. The event which was held at Hotel Triangle saw the “Kaliba” singer sign a mega deal with the phone giants, whose details have not been revealed to the media. In the deal, Rema will be responsible for promoting the company’s brands using her face and music. This comes shortly after the singer landed a huge deal in South Africa where she will be performing at High performance center, Pretoria University, South Africa. The gala dinner, which will also be graced by the Buganda’s queen, Slyvia Nagginda, is about honoring the traditional ritual, Ekisaakaate, where young girls are initiated into adulthood. Sources believe Rema will be earning Millions from the deal as her tenure kicks off. The excited singer also took to social media saying “My Allah keeps doing it again and again. Welcome @itelmobileuganda brand ambassador” she posted.
